Your details, handled properly.

“What we collect, what we use it for, and what we never do with it — written down, no fine print tricks.”

01Clause

What this policy covers

This policy explains how The Brief Bureau (“the bureau”, “we”) handles the personal details you share with us through this website. It applies to everyone who sends us a brief, an email, or a message through any of our forms.

It's written the way we write everything else: plainly, with nothing buried. If anything here is unclear, write to us and we'll explain it in one email.

02Clause

What we collect

When you send a brief through our contact form, we receive what you type into it: your name, your email address, your company if you choose to give it, and the message itself. That's the whole list — no hidden fields, no extra questions.

If you email us directly instead, we receive whatever you put in the email: your address, your signature, and the contents of your message.

03Clause

How we use it

We use your details for one job: to read your brief and reply to it. That means answering your questions, preparing a quote, and following up on a project you've asked us about.

If we start working together, we keep the details relevant to that project — invoices, approvals, correspondence — for as long as the project and its paperwork require. We don't use your details for any other purpose without asking you first.

04Clause

What we never do

We never sell, rent, or trade your details. We don't add you to marketing lists, and we don't pass your name or email to anyone else so they can do it either.

We don't build advertising profiles from this site, and we don't share your brief with anyone outside the bureau except the people we work with to run the site itself — see clause 07.

05Clause

Cookies and tracking

We keep this simple: the site runs without advertising trackers or third-party ad scripts. Your visit to this page isn't followed around the internet afterwards.

If we ever add something that watches how the site is used, this page will say so here first — before the tool goes live, not after.

06Clause

How long we keep things

Briefs from the contact form stay with us while the conversation is live, and afterwards only as long as they might still matter — typically no more than two years after our last exchange.

Ask us to delete something and we will, unless we're legally required to keep a record of it (an invoice, for example). Deletion requests are handled by a human, not a form.

07Clause

Third parties

This site is hosted by a professional hosting provider, and briefs sent through the form are stored in that provider's managed database. The provider processes this data on our behalf to keep the site running — it doesn't use your details for its own purposes.

Aside from that, we don't send your details anywhere. No analytics platforms, no advertising networks, no data brokers.

08Clause

Your rights

You can ask us at any time what details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. You can also ask us to stop contacting you, and we will.

Write to hello@designbureau.studio and we'll respond within one business day. We may ask one confirming question before changing or deleting records, to make sure the request is really yours.

09Clause

The legal bit

This policy and the data practices it describes are governed by the laws of Greece. The Brief Bureau is the controller of the personal data collected through this site.

If you have a concern about how your details have been handled, tell us first — we'd rather fix it than argue about it. Questions about any of this go to the same address as everything else.

10Clause

Changes to this policy

If our practices change, this page changes with them, and the version published here is the one in force. Material changes — new data collected, new purposes, new third parties — get a plain-language note at the top of this page.

This policy is dated September 2026. Anything after that, we'll update here.
